The Blue Sisters...Walking in the footsteps of Our Lord!
The Blue Sisters

The Franciscan Missionary Sisters of our Lady of Perpetual Help of Jamaica, is a local congregation - founded on September 8, 1929 in Jamaica. As Franciscans, they follow in the footsteps of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the spirit and tradition of St Francis of Assisi.
They desire to live the Gospel way of life, which is rooted in their baptismal consecration. In community they strive to live the Consecrated Life, through the Vows of Chastity and Obedience, publicly professed in the Church. Like St. Francis, they aspire to follow Christ also in simplicity, charity, poverty and humility, being ready for generous service to God and His people.
