The beauty of God is glimpsed in the wonder of creation. Everything that God creates is good (Gn. 1:31). If we choose to take the time to look, contemplate and marvel at the gifts evident in nature, then we will find our minds, hearts and spirits filled with unrivalled peace and joy. When we ponder the 'work' of the artist, we grow in appreciation of the 'Artist' Himself.

The connection we have with our God in prayer should be evident in the ways we care for our environment and each other. Ours is the task to 'see' the presence of God in all places and people, and do all that we can to either maintain or advance His beauty in our world. As pinnacles of God's creation, we are empowered to celebrate life, and be sources of His life and love in this world.

Lord, help me to show my gratitude for Your many blessings by the ways I care for Your people and all that You make in our world. Amen.
