Do we give our best to the Lord? During Holy Week, we celebrate the loving truth that Jesus gave His best, His very life (Jn. 3:16), for our salvation. What is our response? Are we ready to be as generous with Jesus as He is with us?

If we try to show our gratitude, then be prepared to face the tempting questions of, "Can I really afford to do this?" and "How will I manage afterwards?" Also, be prepared to be criticised and ridiculed by others (Jn. 12:5). But if we believe nothing is impossible with God (Lk. 1:37), then know that nothing is too good for God (Jn. 12:8).

Lord Jesus, grant me the grace and courage to give my best for Your glory. Amen.
