The cross and crown are part and parcel of life. Every believer is called to embrace some challenge, suffering or trouble in this world. But if we trust in the presence and power of Jesus, the One who has overcome the world (Jn. 16:33), we will not only have peace in the midst of the storm, but will also be led to inherit the crown of glory that is ours in Jesus Christ. Today, stand with confidence and be of good courage, for God is with us always. Lord Jesus, give me the grace of faith to boldly face the daily tasks of life, because with You is the assurance of victory. Amen.
