"What concern is it of yours?" (Jn. 21:22). The question addressed to Peter regarding the life and future of John, is also directed to every disciple. Each person is given the grace needed to keep your eyes on Jesus, and pay attention to one's spiritual growth. Through a life of prayer and introspection, the disciple learns how to submit to the Word and Spirit of God. The evidence of such growth will be greater tolerance and appreciating the beauty of the differences in others. Prayer for self and others will open the doors to greater love and harmony in all our relationships. Lord Jesus, teach me how to trust in Your saving power, and to see Your face in every individual in the journey of life. Amen.
