Do we strive, with the grace of God, to be better versions of ourselves today than we were yesterday? Life is about growth. The spiritual life is about growing in love and holiness as we draw closer to God. If we spend more time and energy advancing ourselves, we will have less time criticising others. Judging others is a waste of time, makes the devil happy, and displeases our Lord who calls such people "hypocrites" (Mt. 7:5). Instead, use the gift of time efficiently by "removing the beam" from our eyes (Mt. 7:5), and walk away from the evil and darkness in our lives. Lord Jesus, may we embrace Your word and allow You to shape our lives, so that we may grow in the ways of holiness and love. Amen.
