When we trust in the Lord, He not only provides for our needs, but He also blesses us abundantly. In today's first reading, the Lord said that He will bestow a great reward on Abraham (Gn. 15:1). God then blessed Abraham with a child, and promises that his descendants will number as the stars (Gn. 15:5).

Do we really trust God to deliver and bless us through the varied experiences of life? Daddy will never leave us wanting. Surrender to Him. Loving Father, help us to trust in Your providential care, so that our faith in You may lead to the praise of Your name. Amen
