Believers who have learnt how to surrender and trust in the Lord can joyfully sing, 'Jesus is my deliverer.' God proves His fidelity by coming to our rescue when the storms of life and the experiences from people can be threatening. God saved Lot and his family from destruction (Gn. 19: 15-29), and the disciples in the boat (Mt. 8:23-27). The Lord not only saves us from sin, but also does everything to deliver our minds, hearts and bodies from danger. Trust Him and be at peace. Lord Jesus, may our lives of gratitude for the times You rescue us, be dedicated to the praise of Your mighty name. Amen.
