We do not know the complete plan of God for our daily lives, but the experience of the effects of His care and love for those who trust Him are always evident. God who gives life to everyone, will never abandon anyone. This truth is seen in the lives of Hagar and Ishmael (Gn. 21: 8-20). Although God's plan is to bless Abraham through Isaac, this did not detract from the blessings Hagar and her son would receive. God rescues them, and each believer, and leads us by His love. Loving Father, help us to trust in Your saving plan for our lives, so that we may humbly surrender to Your guidance always. Amen.
