Sin not only robs us of peace and joy, it threatens the promise of our inheriting eternal life. Our Father wants us to live and be happy with Him in this world and the next. Now is the time, this is the day to face and name our sins. Since sin is to turn away from God and walk on a path that leads to death, then turning away from sin and returning to God leads to life. Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, the Hour is coming and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live” (Jn. 5:25). Will we choose life today? Lord Jesus, may Your word which is life, reach my ears and heart, so that my life may aim to please You, and live with You forever. Amen.
