Every relationship takes effort in order to make it work. Families and friends know the value of open communication, being ‘present’ to each other, and  knowing when to lead and when to follow, done for the benefit of all. Anything of value demands hard work and diligence.

Jesus reminds us to cultivate our relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit. When we nurture our bond with the Spirit, we learn how to listen, trust and let Him lead. We need not fear the struggles and trials of life (Lk. 12:12). Once we know the Spirit is with us, we live in hope.

Come Holy Spirit, and fill us with the fire and power of Your love. May our faith and trust in You, lead us all to victory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
