God is present in the daily activities of our lives. Our eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, buying and selling, planting and building (Lk. 17:27-28) are all done in the watchful care of our God. Our task is to cultivate an awareness of His presence. When we habitually recognize the Lord in all our experiences, not only do we thank and praise Him, but we also seek to please Him. This means we use the gift of time to draw close to God, conform our lives to His will, and to joyfully prepare for His return. Lord Jesus, help us to praise You at all times, and to anticipate Your return by using each moment to become better disciples. Amen.
