Through all the trials of life, Jesus tells us to, “Stand firm, and you will win life”(Lk. 21:19). Being a follower of Jesus does not prevent storms in our lives. Rather, it means trusting in His saving power to shield and protect us, so that we can praise His name and tell others of His love. He will deliver us from our sins, persecutions and death. Worthy is the Lord, to receive all glory, honour and worship in spirit and truth. Lord Jesus, let our confidence in Your abiding presence give us new strength through the daily challenges of life. As a hen covers her chicks with her wings, so may we find comfort and protection in the shelter of Your arms. We thank You and praise You, now and forever. Amen.
