When God visits His people, He comes primarily to bless us and give us good things. We see this in three ways: 1. He created all good things, and then visited Adam and Eve to bless them in the garden of Eden (Gn. 1&2). 2. He visited Mary, the new Eve, through His Angel Gabriel, to bless her and give her His good Son Jesus, the new Adam (Lk. 1:26-38). 3. He visits us, descendants of Adam and Eve, each day and blesses us to live so that we can be with Jesus in heaven (Rev. 12:5). Today, take time to thank the Lord for His many blessings. May our gratitude to God be evidenced in the ways we conform our lives, like Mary, to His word and will. Our Father, thank You for loving and blessing us. May we choose to follow Your Son to paradise, by living as Your joyful children. Amen.
Blessings,
Fr. Howie
