Another year is almost over, and a new one is set to begin. We can give thanks to the Lord for all the blessings we have received. We keep in mind those who have died, those who mourn the loss of loved ones and those who are recently born.
Being in the Christmas Season, we give special thanks for the birth of Jesus our Saviour. “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us” (Jn. 1:14). We worship a God who actually journeys with us in all our experiences. He who walks with us deserves our praise.
Lord Jesus, we praise You and give glory to Your name. As we walk together with You into a New Year, may our lives give You fitting service as we journey in faith, hope and love. Amen.
Blessings,
Fr. Howie
