“My appointed time draws near” (Mt. 26:18). Jesus knows His hour is at hand, and so now he prepares for His greatest act of sacrifice that will effect forgiveness, healing and restoration. The legacy and gift of the Eucharist will be celebrated until the end of time.

We who partake of His Body and Blood, are invited to ponder the legacy we will leave behind. Will we also be known as a people who love beyond boundaries, forgive without limits and offer hope without end? Our preparation for these is rooted in prayer.

Lord Jesus, as I feed on You, may my life grounded in prayer bear the fruits that reflect Your life and reveal Your love. Amen.
