The grace of God spurs goodness in people. The mercy of God far exceeds the sins of humanity. The love of God surpasses the indifference and ingratitude of His sons and daughters. The power of God redeems the least, lowest and last (Mt. 20:1-16). When we take our eyes off His providence and begin to evaluate life and people on our own terms, we run the risk of ‘making’ ourselves God with a right to judge. However, when we recall what God does for each of us, we give thanks and pray the same for others. Lord Jesus, You love us with a love that is beyond our understanding. Help us to embrace and cherish this love, and enthusiastically share it for everyone’s benefit. Amen.
