“In the presence of the Lord, there is fulness of joy.” We sing these words which affirm our faith that only in God do we experience a real joy that the world cannot impart. It causes Elizabeth to rejoice and makes John in her womb leap for joy (Lk. 1:39-45). Today and at all times, if we are lacking in joy then spend time with Him who is the source of all that is good.
Loving Lord, in You we live and through You we have a joy and peace that cannot be found in anyone or anything. May we choose to always be in Your company, so that as You teach and bless us, the glow of our faith may enlighten the hearts and minds of all people. Amen.
