Look and love. Everyone and everything in our world is created by God and is pronounced “good”. There is so much beauty to celebrate if we simply slow down, and take the time to look and appreciate. The more we look, the more we will love and care.
In the gospel (Mt. 9:35 - 10:1-8), in spite of the demands made on Him, Jesus ‘looked’, saw the crowd and “His heart was moved”. His love for the people as He gazed on them led to His healing and eventually saving them and us all. Today, look and love❤️.
Lord Jesus, Your gaze on us is never ending because of Your great love for us. As we watch and wait for Your coming, may we keep our eyes fixed on Your wonderful face, so that the image of Your beauty may be seen in all creation. May we love what we see. Amen.
