When one enters a dark room, there is hesitancy and fear. But when the light is turned on, there is clarity and confident movement. To be clear, if we are distant from the Lord our Light, then uncertainty about our purpose and spiritual anxiety will set in. But if we allow the Lord to shine in and on our lives (Lk. 8:16-18), then we will be led into joy and hope.
Shine on us Lord Jesus, and lead us by Your marvellous light. May the radiance of Your love transform our darkness into light and lead us into the joys of Your eternal kingdom. Amen.
