Our true worth stems from the fact that we are made by God. Our worth is solidified by the reality that our Lord saw it fit to die so that we can live. Birth and rebirth through the grace of God is what makes us more valuable than “many sparrows” (Lk. 12:7).
Any attachment to equating our worth with our possessions or power base must be rejected as a lie. Our Lord who owns the entire universe has made each of us a precious gem in His golden crown. Rejoice and celebrate your real value.
Lord Jesus, thank You for revealing how valuable we are to You. You bless us, forgive us, heal us and restore us. Help us to offer You fitting and loving service in return. Amen.
