Paul tells us, that “with all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit” (Eph. 6:18). Do we honestly do this? If we believe that our God guides, heals and protects us like a mother hen (Lk. 13:34), do we turn to Him the first thing in the morning, at various moments in the day, and perhaps the last thought at night? Do we truly seek His wisdom rather than our impulsive decisions?
Today, call upon the Lord. Let prayer be the base from which we live in peace and love.
Loving Father, hear the prayers of Your children. Teach us how to listen and respond, so that in all things, we may seek Your glory and the good of all people in our lives. Amen.
