Do we as believers and members of the family of God, really and truly desire each other’s salvation? Each believer has to examine oneself to honestly answer how well one loves and cares for all, or how indifferent and distant one prefers and practices.
The paralytic in today’s gospel (Mk. 2:1-12) is truly blessed to have four people in his life who literally moved the roof to place him in front of Jesus for healing. Today, give thanks for the people who carry us, and ask for the grace to carry others to our Lord.
Lord Jesus, You call us to not only follow You, but also to carry others to You by the light of love we radiate. Help us to truly become each other’s keeper in prayer and practice. Amen.
Blessings,
Fr. Howie
