Prayer is a necessary and beautiful gift. It is necessary because it keeps us connected with our God and each other. It is beautiful because we do not need to babble or even struggle to find the words, but simply acknowledge God as “Our Father” (Mt. 6:7-15) and trust in His divine providence. Our Father listens to our prayer. Let us live as His children.
Loving Father, hear the prayers of Your children. Whether with words or in silence, let our daily offering find favour with You, as we strive to live in ways that please You. Amen.
