We have eyes, but do we really see? We can get so absorbed in our thoughts, duties and even our emotions that we are ‘blind’ to what is happening around us. We miss the good things that the Lord is doing with us and around us. Like the blind man who was healed by the Lord (Mk. 8:22-26), ask the Lord to touch our eyes, even twice, so that we may ‘see’.
Lord Jesus, touch our eyes and our minds, and remove the scales that prevent us from seeing Your wonders and beauty in our world. May we celebrate Your healing and light by choosing to pay attention to Your word and deliberately walk in Your way. Amen.
