There is a spiritual ‘chain’ in the ministry of evangelization. The Father sends Jesus, who in turns sends each of us (Jn. 13:20). We are not sent in our name to represent ourselves. We are sent to be signs of the Lord in this world. If they rejected Him, they will reject us. If they embrace Him, they will accept us. One thing is certain, whether others accept or reject us, our God who we represent, will always be ready to reward us.
Pray for the grace to be effective evangelizers for God’s glory and our eternal good.
Lord Jesus, You were sent by the Father to reveal Him so that we can be saved. Send us in the power of Your Spirit to tell others about You, and to set the world aflame with Your love. Amen.
