As Jesus was loved by a few but hated by the world (Jn. 15-18-21), so too we will be. We were not sent to be loved, but to share the love of God to all. Our light of love will disturb the darkness in others, but this is the call of the beloved disciple.
Loving Father, pour Your Spirit into our hearts so that we can courageously and faithfully show love to everyone, without seeking any return except to live for Your glory. Amen.
