Life involves learning and imparting lessons, usually from the Senior to the Junior. This is because the former, having had more experiences, can share with the latter the steps one can take to one’s advantage, or what to do to avoid pitfalls.
It is in light of the above that each of us welcomes the Holy Spirit (Jn. 15:26-16:4a). He is our ultimate guide in life. Being equal to the Father and the Son, the Spirit has been present from the dawn of time. Listen and learn from Him.
Come Holy Spirit, and fill us with Your guiding presence. May we choose to learn from You, to be guided by You, and to bear fruits that bring sweetness to our world. Amen.
Blessings,
Fr. Howie
