Yesterday we celebrated the grace of Divine Mercy, signalling a new beginning. We who draw close to Jesus our Lord, the fount of mercy, are made clean and given a fresh start. Our God gives us every opportunity to move away from sin and walk in His love.
Jesus speaks of this ongoing newness in our lives. He states that we must be born again of “water and the Spirit” (Jn. 3:1-8). Baptism cleanses us in one moment in time, but the daily anointing of the Spirit washes us for life. Today and always, make every effort to grow.
Lord Jesus, just say the word and we are healed. As You daily pour Your merciful love upon us, may we use the gift of being restored in Your sight to tell others about You. Amen.
